P-Channel MOSFET Switches, Devices and Control Modules

Compare P-channel MOSFETs for switch designs alongside assembled MOSFET control boards. This collection spans discrete SOT-23, SOT-89, SOT-223, TO-220, TO-247, TO-252 and QFN devices, dual-channel chips and optically isolated modules. Not every product here is a P-channel switch: check whether you are ordering a bare semiconductor, an integrated power-switch IC, a complete board or a different device entirely.

What the listings contain

  • P-channel discrete devices: examples include AO3401 and SI2301 SOT-23 selections, FDN5618P SOT-23, 2SJ356 SOT-89, 2SJ360 SOT-89, NCE60P04R SOT-223, AOD472 and 2SJ599 TO-252, FHP20100 and SUP90P06-09L TO-220, and IRFP9240 TO-247. Other pages offer IRFR5305 TO-252, AOSP21357 SOP-8, AONS21357 QFN 5×6 or AONR21357 QFN 3×3. Those packages, footprints, pinouts and thermal paths are not interchangeable by channel name alone.
  • Dual or integrated choices: APM4953 is listed as a dual P-channel MOSFET, while DMC2400UV-7 is a complementary N+P array. ST890CDR is described as an integrated high-side power-switch chip rather than a bare three-terminal MOSFET. Determine the internal topology and protection functions from each device's datasheet before choosing a substitute.
  • Assembled boards: listings include optocoupler-isolated P-channel modules, a four-channel P-MOSFET board with 3.3 V or 5 V options, PMOS modules in 1-, 5- or 10-board choices and an eight-channel DIN-rail output board with separately selected NPN/PNP input and output configurations. These are complete circuits, not loose FETs. IRF520, IRF540, FR120N, LR7843 and AOD4184 boards, generic PWM trigger boards and an infrared relay board also appear; their switch topology and control interface must be checked separately. Do not assume that an NPN/PNP label on a module equals P-channel MOSFET polarity.

Read model and quantity together

On shared SOT-23 listings, “Color” selects AO3401 or SI2301 versus N-channel AO3400, AO3402, SI2300 or SI2302; the option labelled “Voltage” can mean a 100-, 200- or 500-piece quantity, not a voltage rating. Other selectors combine B20P03 P-channel and B20N03 N-channel versions, or FDV302P/FDV304P/FDV340P with FDV301N/FDV303N/FDV305N. A NCE-series page presents six model choices with five pack sizes. These are selected-model packs rather than assorted sets unless the product explicitly says otherwise. Some AONS21357/AONR21357 quantity-only listings do not resolve which of the two package codes is supplied; confirm the exact marking and footprint.

Compatibility and safety checks

Match channel type, full part number, case and pinout, drain-source and gate-source limits, on-resistance at the actual gate drive, gate charge, safe operating area and heat dissipation against the relevant datasheet. For a module, separately verify control input levels, isolation method, output polarity, supply range, load type and terminal ratings on its own page. Current and wattage figures in seller headlines do not establish continuous performance in an installed circuit, and gate-threshold voltage is not a full-on rating. Listings also include a TO-92 J175/2SJ175 JFET, 2N5462, N-channel MOSFETs, a TO-3P 13009-family switch-transistor selector and a TTP229 touch sensor. These are not drop-in P-channel MOSFET substitutes. Seller originality and certification claims are not independently verified across the collection.

Frequently asked questions

Is a MOSFET trigger module the same as a P-channel high-side switch?

No. An assembled trigger board can use a different device and switching topology. Confirm its schematic, input logic and output arrangement before choosing it for a high-side design.

Does a 100-piece SOT-23 selector include every named model?

No. Pick the actual part in “Color” and the pack size in the other option; mixed N- and P-channel names in a heading do not imply a mixed kit.

Can I use a JFET or integrated high-side switch IC in place of a P-channel MOSFET?

Not without a circuit-level redesign and datasheet comparison. Their control behavior and pin functions differ.

Do 20 A, 50 A or 100 A board options guarantee that current in my application?

No. Those are seller option labels. Wiring, cooling, duty cycle and the board's verified component ratings determine usable limits.
