Warm White LED Lights, Bulbs and Lighting Components
Warm white lighting: select the actual light source and variant
Explore warm white LED bulbs, COB and SMD strips, flexible filaments, discrete emitters, cabinet lights, solar step and wall lights, decorative string-light bulbs, vehicle lamps and related lighting hardware. This is a broad catalog collection, not a promise that every item emits warm white light. Many listings offer warm white alongside natural white, cool white, RGB, red, green or blue; others are halogen lamps, switches, connectors or unrelated white-colored electronics. The selected variant determines what arrives. Read its color, base, supply voltage, dimensions, quantity, and included controller or plug before buying.
What “warm white” means here
Warm white generally describes a yellowish-white visual appearance, not a single universal electrical or photometric specification. Listings in this collection explicitly label some choices 2200 K amber, 2700 K vintage white, 3000 K warm white, 4000 K natural/daylight and 6000–6500 K cool white. These are different selections, not guaranteed interchangeable tones. Amber-tinted glass can alter appearance without establishing the emitter’s measured correlated color temperature. Nominal kelvin is not enough to infer brightness, color rendering, tint consistency or dimming behavior; consult the chosen product’s actual specification. A product title containing Warm White can still have a White, Red, Blue, RGB, Cool White or accessory-only selection.
Choose by physical product, not the keyword alone
- Finished household lamps: E12, E14, E26 and E27 screw bulbs, G4 and G9 capsule lamps, G40/G45/G80/G95/G125 decorative globes, A19/A60 bulbs and T5 tube-style products. Check cap or pin geometry, AC versus DC, regional voltage, lamp dimensions and dimmer compatibility independently.
- Flexible LED tape: USB 5 V COB and SMD strips, 12/24 V DC tape, 220 V plug-powered strip kits, diffused neon-style rope and addressable RGB/RGBW products. These vary in width, length, density, ingress protection, color and controller requirements.
- Component-level light sources: 3/5 mm indicator diodes, 020/2835/5050/5730 SMD LEDs, high-power emitters on star boards, integrated COB chips and flexible 3/9/12/24 V-marketed filaments. These are not finished mains lamps merely because they appear in lighting search results.
- Fixtures and application lights: solar stair/fence lighting, PIR night lights, cabinet illumination, PAR/stage fixtures, vehicle interior and daytime-running lamps, floodlights and decorative curtains. Installation, output and supply vary by design.
- Adjacent and unrelated items: battery boxes, inline switches, LED connectors, power extensions, heat sinks and white housings can be relevant accessories; pin headers, terminal blocks, soldering stations and other white-colored components are not warm-white lamps. Inspect each product rather than assuming all entries are illumination.
Screw-base, pin-base and tube lamps
An E12 110 V G40 replacement bulb differs from a 220 V E12 G40, a 220 V E27 globe and a 3 V E27 S14 decorative string bulb. A matching thread does not mean a matching electrical supply. E14 candle lamps offer separate warm/cool color and 10/12/15 W selections; E26 A19 packs can be 6, 12 or 24 bulbs at a particular 3000 K option; E27/E26/E14/B22 corn-style listings combine socket, color and LED-count/power variants. Select all relevant choices rather than using a range in the headline as the specification of one unit. “Equivalent watts” describes a seller’s comparison to an older lamp type, not measured input power; evaluate actual wattage, lumens and luminaire clearance where provided.
G4 listings include distinct AC 12 V and DC 12 V LED selections and separate clear/frosted, quantity and power configurations. Other G4 results are genuine halogen capsules rather than LEDs, including 5–50 W-marketed options, so do not transfer LED efficiency or long-life claims to them. G9 results include 220–240 V halogen capsules and a separate remote-controlled RGB/cool/warm LED bulb. A G9 bulb does not fit G4, and a GU10 spotlight does not fit GU5.3/MR16 simply because both are spotlights. A T5 tube-style LED with 29 cm 6 W and 57 cm 10 W variants needs its own fixture, driver and supply compatibility checked; “integrated driver” in a seller description is not a universal retrofit approval. Some E10 miniature screw bulbs have color choices alongside 3, 3.8, 4.5, 6, 8, 12, 18 and 24 V DC choices; selecting Warm White alone does not specify voltage.
Decorative filament designs include 2200 K amber-look G40/E12 and G40/E27, 2700 K ST64/E27, and non-dimmable A19 variants. Some E27 listings explicitly separate dimmable 4/6 W from non-dimmable 4/6 W options. Check dimmer and minimum-load compatibility against the precise lamp, not the vintage appearance. Pack sizes range from one to 25 or more, and “6PCS” describes a package, not an electrical configuration. Outdoor string-light replacement bulbs still require a compatible string, socket and weather-protected assembled system.
5 V USB and battery-powered flexible strips
5 V COB tape appears in 2.7, 3, 4, 5 and 8 mm-class widths and nominal layouts such as 320, 400 or 480 LEDs/m. A choice of 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 m changes the electrical load; a USB plug does not prove any computer port can supply a long run. Some products list a switch, remote dimmer, battery box, bare two-pin lead or USB connector as separate configurations. A 3AA battery assembly, when offered, does not imply batteries are supplied or that a 5 V-rated strip can be connected to any battery pack without checking the actual circuit. A narrow PCB bends and fits differently from 8 mm tape, and a neon-style silicone diffuser is physically different from exposed COB tape. Verify the chosen width, nominal input, color, length, connector, power supply and cut points.
Some 5 V strips pair 3000 K warm white with 4000 K natural and 6000 K cool options, while others list pink, ice blue, red or green beside Warm White. Those are normally separate fixed-color variants, not tunable-white or RGB output. A Wi-Fi versus Zigbee COB strip variant defines the control ecosystem; “full kit” and strip-only offerings are different deliverables. A local on/off switch is not a brightness controller unless that exact selected listing says so. Similarly, a 5 V addressable SK6812 RGBW strip is a multichannel data-controlled product and is not electrically or logically interchangeable with a two-wire fixed warm-white COB tape.
12 V and 24 V tape: density, color and control
12/24 V COB listings include approximate 320, 480 and 528 emitter/chip-per-metre descriptions, 8/10 mm PCB widths, and warm/natural/cool white or fixed colored selections. Separate 12 V 2835 strips list 120 LEDs/m, and 24 V COB strips offer lengths from short segments to 10 m-class runs in different products. The chip count is a construction descriptor, not a guarantee of lumen output, equal watts per metre or the same cut interval. Calculate supply capacity from the chosen strip’s actual watts per metre and length, allow for voltage drop and thermal mounting, and confirm polarity and the manufacturer’s permitted feed length. A listing advertising 5, 12 and 24 V or 3 mm width and 50 m length is presenting choices: never infer that a single selected 5 V strip is rated for 24 V or that the entire roll can be fed identically from one end.
IP20/IP21 open tape, coated IP65-style tape and IP68-marketed neon/strip products do not offer the same protection. Protection of the original tape does not certify cut ends, joins, switches or power supplies. A seller’s “pool” or “waterproof” language must not replace assessment of the complete installed system for water exposure. 220 V high-voltage strips and plug/dimmer/timer kits are a separate mains-rated product class, not a convenient power source for 5/12/24 V tape. Check plug region, length, end seals, controller, installation instructions and local electrical requirements for the actual kit; this collection is not a wiring instruction.
LED components and DIY light sources
Bulk 3 and 5 mm LEDs may be bare two-lead diodes, 12 V prewired assemblies with an integrated resistor, or an assorted-color pack. “100pcs Warm White” is a different package from “10 colors each 10pcs”; a fixed warm-white part is not an RGB emitter. Surface-mount 020 side-emitting, 2835 and 5050 components have different pad geometry and optical direction. A 5050 warm-white diode, a 5050 RGB package and a 5050 RGBW package do not have the same electrical channels. Check current limiting, polarity, soldering footprint, nominal forward current and heat handling for the specific LED rather than treating a headline “2V 3V” range as a universal input supply.
Some 1/3 W emitters ship on 20 mm star PCBs with warm white around 3000 K among red, royal-blue, UV and IR options. The star carrier is not automatically a regulated driver or complete heatsink. A 12/36 V-marketed COB integrated module and a 220 V-marketed ceramic COB chip are distinct designs; neither should be powered from a general bare-LED rule. Flexible COB filaments have selected lengths from tens to hundreds of millimetres, with 3 V, 9 V, 12 V or 24 V choices in some listings. They are lamp-making components, not plug-in household bulbs. Evaluate the precise selected filament’s current, thermal path, bend constraints and driver. UV and IR selections require wavelength-specific precautions and should not be treated as warm-white illumination.
Outdoor, solar, vehicle and specialty lighting
Solar step lights in this collection list 15- versus 24-LED, warm-versus-white and 2/4/6/8-piece choices. Their solar charging, battery capacity, placement and weather-resistance claims belong to the specific item, not to all outdoor lighting. Solar wall/fence lights may combine warm-white and RGB modes within an actual finished fixture; confirm the mode and package instead of assuming every fixed-color strip is tunable. Motion-sensing 220 V EU-plug night lights differ from rechargeable or battery-powered round night lights. Stage COB PAR units with cool/warm white DMX operation and plug selections are not residential E27 bulbs; controller channels and mains plug are product-specific.
Vehicle listings include T10/W5W, BA9S/BAX9S/BAY9S/BAW9S and vehicle-specific 12 V halogen daytime-running parts. Select exact base, polarity where applicable, vehicle voltage, physical envelope, wattage and road-use legality. “Universal” in a seller title is not proof of dashboard-error compatibility or correct fit for every model. A colored PC fan with LEDs, an illuminated switch, a white cable or a white terminal housing can appear in this collection, but is not automatically a warm-white lighting product.
Practical selection checklist
- Confirm what the selected item is: ready-to-use bulb, complete fixture, bare LED, filament, strip, controller, connector or unrelated part.
- Choose light appearance: select the actual 2200/2700/3000 K warm-white option if offered; do not infer warm white from a multi-color title, amber glass or a white PCB.
- Match power and mechanical interface: DC LED forward current versus 5/12/24 V tape, battery/solar assembly or AC mains lamp; then check base, width, cut length and installation clearance.
- Check package and controls: one bulb or multipack, strip-only versus complete kit, fixed color versus CCT tunable/RGB, compatible dimmer, switch, remote or Wi-Fi/Zigbee controller.
- Validate the application: indoor versus outdoor system, ingress protection at joins, thermal dissipation, voltage drop on tape, vehicle fit, and local requirements for mains work.
Use the chosen product page and variant specifications as the authority for rated voltage, luminous flux, CRI, dimming, IP protection, lifespan, compatibility and certifications.
