HW-040 360 Degrees Rotary Encoder Switch Module 5V Brick Sensor Development Board with Knob Cap Brick Sensor Switch Module
Feature: 1. Countless Rotational Possibilities: The rotary encoder accurately counts the number of pulses generated during both clockwise and counterclockwise rotations without any limitations. Unlike a potentiometer, this encoder offers unrestricted rotational counting. With the built-in push-button on the rotary encoder, easily reset to the initial state and start counting from zero. 2. Highly Accurate Incremental Encoding: This encoder converts rotary displacement into a series of digital pulse signals, allowing for precise control of angular displacement. The Eltra encoder utilizes an optical scanning principle, where a rotating radial grating disc projects its image onto a receiver covered with a diffraction grating. The receiver detects changes caused by the rotation and converts them into corresponding electrical changes, generating interference-free square pulses using electronic circuits. Differential comparison ensures high-quality and stable output signals by comparing two waveforms with a phase difference of 180°. 3. Dual-Channel Output with Direction Detection: The incremental encoder produces two-phase square waves, typically referred to as Channel A and Channel B, with a phase difference of 90°. One channel provides information related to rotation speed, while the sequential comparison of the two channels determines the rotation direction. Additionally, a special signal called Z or zero channel indicates the zero position of the encoder, coinciding with one of the A channel square waves. 4. Precision Determined by Mechanical and Electrical Factors: The accuracy of an incremental encoder depends on both mechanical and electrical factors, including grating division errors, eccentricity of the grating disc, bearing eccentricity, errors introduced by electronic reading devices, and optical imperfections. The measurement unit for encoder accuracy is represented in electrical degrees. The precision of the encoder determines the pulse division it produces. To calculate how many mechanical degrees correspond to 360° electrical degrees, use the formula: Electrical 360 = Mechanical 360° / n° of pulses per revolution. 5. Satisfaction Guarantee: We strive to provide each customer with the highest standard of customer service to ensure you have a pleasant shopping experience.
