NO(Normally open contact): Normally in off state, press to power on.
NC(Normally closed contact): Normally in on state, press to power off.

Difference between Momentary button and Self-locking button:

For example, button with 1NO contact:

1. Momentary button: press this button to turn on the power;

Release your hand, the button will self reset, and power will turn off automatically.

2. Self-locking button: press this button into locking state and turn on the power, release your hand, the button is still in fixation;

Press the button again to turn off the power.
