Product Description

1. When the module detects the signal of an obstacle ahead, the green indicator light on the circuit board lights up, and the OUT port continuously outputs a low-level signal. This module detects a distance of 2 to 30 cm, with a detection angle of 35°. The detection distance can be adjusted through a potentiometer. Turning the potentiometer clockwise increases the detection distance; turning it counterclockwise decreases the detection distance.

2. The sensor uses active infrared line reflection detection. Therefore, the reflectivity and shape of the target are the key factors for the detection distance. Among them, the black detection distance is small, and the white one is large; for small-area objects, the distance is small, and for large-area objects, the distance is large.

3. The output port OUT of the sensor module can be directly connected to the IO port of the single-chip microcomputer, or it can directly drive a 5V relay. Connection method: VCC - VCC; GND-GND; OUT-IO

4. The comparator uses LM393 and operates stably.

5. The module can be powered by a 3-5V DC power supply. When the power is turned on, the red power indicator light will light up.
