Overview

DS1307 is a low-power real-time clock (RTC) module that communicates with a microcontroller through an I2C interface, with simple wiring and easy integration. This module can provide information such as seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, months, years, etc. The number of days in each month can be automatically adjusted, and it also has a leap year compensation function. You can choose between a 12 hour or 24-hour clock through the AM/PM logo. The module integrates 56 bytes of non-volatile RAM internally, which can be used to store critical data. In addition, DS1307 also has a power sensing circuit that automatically switches to the backup power supply when the main power supply fails, to maintain time, date information, and timing. With its low power consumption, high precision, and ease of integration, DS1307 is widely used in embedded systems, data loggers, smart meters, and other electronic devices that require reliable time management.
