ESP32‑C5‑WIFI6‑KIT is a development board designed by Waveshare based on the ESP32‑C5‑WROOM‑1 module, intended for dual‑band Wi‑Fi and multi‑protocol IoT gateway scenarios. The ESP32‑C5 is Espressif’s single‑core RISC‑V chip supporting Wi‑Fi 6 dual‑band (2.4GHz & 5GHz). It also integrates BLE 5, Zigbee and Thread protocols, and can be flexibly used as a smart home hub or cross‑protocol communication gateway. In terms of hardware, it is equipped with a 240MHz RISC‑V processor, 384KB SRAM, 8MB PSRAM, and optional 16MB or 32MB Flash, capable of stably handling multi‑protocol stack concurrent tasks and medium‑load applications. Developers can leverage mature frameworks such as ESP‑IDF or Arduino for rapid prototype verification and product implementation. It is suitable for practical IoT scenarios including smart gateways and multi‑protocol device access.
