The X1017 is a high-performance 8-port SATA 3.0 PCIe expansion board designed exclusively for the Raspberry Pi 5. With up to 5Gbps bandwidth and simultaneous multi-drive support, it delivers a high-capacity, high-speed storage upgrade for data-intensive use cases.

It features flexible 12V power options: dual DC jacks or a 4-pin ATX connector. The onboard step-down circuit provides stable 5V power for the Pi 5 via pogo pins, eliminating the need for a separate Type-C power supply. In DC power mode, intelligent switches automatically power off SATA drives on system shutdown to protect hardware.

It is an ideal solution for building home media centers, personal NAS and CCTV video storage systems for local and remote data management.
