Characteristic parameter

• The module adopts the U-BLOX NEO-6M module, which is compact and has excellent performance.

• Adding an amplification circuit to the module is beneficial for passive ceramic antennas to quickly search for satellites. (MINI version does not have onboard antenna)

• The module can set various parameters through the serial port and can be saved in EEPROM, making it convenient to use.

Note 1: After the main power supply is disconnected, the Backup battery can maintain the storage of GPS ephemeris data for about half an hour to support warm start or hot start, so as to achieve rapid positioning.

Pin Description

• VCC: Power supply (3.3V~5.0V)

• GND: Grounding

• TXD: Module serial port sending pin (TTL level, cannot directly connect to RS232 level!), can connect to microcontroller

• RXD: Module serial port receiving pin (TTL level, cannot directly connect to RS232 level!), can be connected to microcontroller

• PPS: Clock pulse output pin

Under default conditions (without program settings), there are two states:

1. Constant light indicates that the module has started working but has not yet achieved positioning.

2. Flashing (100ms off, 900ms on) indicates that the module has been successfully positioned.

In this way, through the PPS indicator light, we can easily determine the current status of the module, making it convenient for everyone to use.
