It is capable of measuring AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, frequency, duty, resistance, capacitance, temperature, diode, continuity, NCV and more

Three models for your choice

GD166A is AC Clamp Meter, there is no DC current function.

GD166B GD168B are AC/DC Clamp Meters, both models can measure AC DC current.

Inrush current measurement

Select the inrush current measurement function, then press the trigger to open the clamp,clamp the conductor to be tested, slowly release the trigger until the clamp are completely closed,and determine whether the conductor is clamped in the center of the pliers.If the conductor is not in the center, additional errors will occur.

NCV measurement

When the weak electric field signal is induced, the "--L" symbol will be displayed, the beep will emit a slow beep sound, and the green LED indicator will light up.When the strong electric field signal is induced, the "--H" symbol will be displayed, the beep will emit a fast beep sound, and the red LED indicator will light up.

Smart measurement

The meter enters smart mode by default. It can measure voltage, current,resistance,continuity,and automatically identify the measurement signal. The current is measured with the clamp, and the other measurements are taken from the pen input.

Current measurement

When measuring AC current, you should only clamp the live line or the zero line, NOT 2 lines combined together.

Live wire detecting

When a low voltage is detected, "--L" is displayed, the beeper emits a low beeping tone and the green LED lights up.When a high voltage is detected, "--H" is displayed, the beeper emits a fast beeping tone and the red LED lights up.

Flashlight

Press the flashlight button and hold for more than 2 seconds to turn the flashlight on or off. It is convenient to be used in dark conditions

Place the test lead design

There is a pen rack in the clamp, if can place the other probe when you only use one probe when measuring.

Temperature measurement
