Product Introduction: The HC-12 wireless serial communication module is a new generation of multi-channel embedded wireless data transmission module. The wireless operating frequency band is 433.4—483.8MHz, with multiple channels configurable in 400KHz increments, totaling 127 channels. In default mode, the module's maximum transmit power is 100mW (20dBm), 5000bps air baud rate, receive sensitivity -116dBm, and a communication distance of 1000 meters in open areas.

The module uses a stamp-hole packaging method, allowing for surface mount soldering. Measuring 27.4mm × 13.2mm (excluding the spring antenna), it is easily embedded into application systems. The module features a PCB antenna mount ANT1, allowing users to connect an external antenna via coaxial cable, depending on the selected communication channel, for either the 433MHz band (suitable for 433.4MHz-450MHz) or the 470MHz band (suitable for 450MHz-483.8MHz). An internal antenna soldering hole ANT2 facilitates soldering of the spring antenna. Users can select one antenna type according to their requirements.

The module contains an internal MCU, eliminating the need for additional programming. Various pass-through modes allow users to simply transmit and receive serial data, making it convenient to use. The module employs multiple serial port pass-through modes, selectable via AT commands according to user requirements.

The average operating current in idle state for the four modes FU1, FU2, FU3, and FU4 are 3.3mA, 85μA, 16.5mA, and 16.5mA respectively, with a maximum operating current of approximately 120mA (in full-power transmission mode).
