The old‑version BTS7960 driver has been discontinued. The new MOSFET‑based IBT‑4 motor‑driver module solves its drawbacks.

BTS7960 / BTS7970 / BTN7960 / BTN7970 chips are originally designed for automotive power windows and intended for short‑time operation. Their 43 A rated current is only for short‑term peaks and will trigger chip latch‑up protection, not suitable for long‑term continuous work. They have low‑frequency control and high internal resistance. Not suitable for no‑load operation or frequent PID adjustment. Frequent PWM regulation will cause severe overheating of BTS chips. IBT‑4 perfectly solves this issue.

This is a full H‑bridge driver built with MOSFETs, featuring ultra‑low internal resistance and high‑current capability. The H‑bridge MOSFET circuit provides excellent turn‑on and braking performance. Equipped with signal‑isolation chip to effectively protect MCU and motor. Fully compatible with 3.3 V‑12 V PWM logic level, max current up to 50 A.
