It houses 2 sensor dies (unlike single-die common sensors): InvenSense’s MEMS 3-axis accelerometer + gyroscope, paired with Asahi Kasei’s AK09916 3-axis magnetometer. This TDK chip is an upgrade to the popular discontinued MPU-9250 (note: not fully code-compatible).
Key specs: 16-bit ADC for precise signal conversion; 9-axis data output via I2C (SPI exposed but magnetometer I2C-only). Gyro FSR: ±250/±500/±1000/±2000 dps; accelerometer FSR: ±2g/±4g/±8g/±16g; magnetometer range: ±4900 µT.
Our breakout board features an onboard 1.8V regulator and level shifter, enabling seamless compatibility with 3.3V (e.g., Raspberry Pi) and 5V (e.g., Arduino Uno) devices—no complex debugging required.
