INSTRUCTION

1. Before connecting the battery, connect the charging head of the mobile phone through the type-c data cable, and check that the four lights turn on in turn to confirm that the module chip functions well.

2. Use a multimeter to measure the prepared battery voltage, and ensure that the battery voltage is between 3.0-4.2V. If the voltage is higher or lower than this range, the battery may fail or is not applicable to the battery type.

3. After ensuring that the battery is free of problems, do a good job of static protection, prepare thick wires for welding, pay attention to the positive and negative electrodes, and the reverse plate must be burned.

4. The charging input can be connected to the charging head through the type-c interface, or it can be connected to 5V through the interface marked in blue in the figure above.  The input current of port C should be greater than the input current of the welding interface (the input battery terminal of port C can be charged by 3A, and the maximum input battery terminal of the welding interface is 2A).

Tip: If you take a single C port package, the USB interface pad can't be wired out for direct use. If you want to connect to an external USB port or take power from the USB port pad, you can't use a single C port package. You can buy a C+U port package and remove the USB port for use. (The difference between C port and C+U port is not only that there are more USB interfaces, but also other components.)

Since only the C port outputs from the single C port, the C port of the board follows the relevant interface protocols. When it is not detected that the electrical equipment is plugged in, the voltage will not be output. The output must be to pull down the CC line level through the load (mobile phones and other devices supporting the C port), telling the module that the access device is an electrical equipment, not a charging power supply (the module mainly detects the CC line level when judging whether the C port is to be discharged or charged, and can open the output by pulling down a 5.1k resistor through the CC line), You cannot force output by pressing a key or other methods, because there is only one output from a single C port. When the load is not connected , the key output conflicts with the C portprotocol, the key forced output conflicts with the C port protocol, the key function is shielded, and the key forced output light only flashes once. After the load is connected, the key function is restored.

Note

Batteries can only be connected in parallel (the number of parallel connections is unlimited), not in series. If they are connected in series, the motherboard will burn.

The wires connected to the external battery of the motherboard should be able to pass the current of more than 6A. At 0.9 square meters of copper wire should be used, and 1.5 square meters of ordinary wires should be used. It is not necessary to be too thick, but it should not be too thin. Too thin will cause potential safety hazards. (Because the battery terminal current is very high)

The motherboard has its own protection chip, so there is no need to add a protection board for the battery. Unless your protection board can pass a current of more than 6A, please remove the protection board if there is one, and connect the battery cell directly to our motherboard. (Because the built-in device can not normally have excessive current, it will be protected if the output power is large)

Partners who use alligator clip motherboard for testing should not charge their mobile phones, and do not ask why. In short, they should not use this way. 3.7V/4.2V 18650/polymer/ternary lithium battery is used as the battery. The maximum charging current 3A refers to the charging current of the battery terminal, not the input current. Since the battery voltage is different from the input voltage, the input voltage is greater than the battery voltage, so the 5V input current is less than the battery terminal current, so the value of 3A is no doubt. It is OK to make the chip hardware for 4A. The limit of 3A is to be compatible with most mobile phone charging heads. After all, many charging heads are of ordinary power.

3.1A discharge current refers to the maximum current. It does not mean that the discharge must be 3.1A. It is not a constant current source. The actual current is as much as the load actually uses.
