The KY-022 infrared receiver module is a highly integrated infrared signal receiving component widely used in remote control decoding projects, smart home modification, electronic DIY creations and university STEM teaching experiments. The core of the module adopts the mature and stable VS1838B integrated infrared receiving head, which can effectively receive 38KHz modulated infrared signals emitted by ordinary TV, air conditioner and various remote controllers. It filters out ambient visible light interference and stray light through internal special optical and circuit design, so it can work stably even in indoor strong light environments and accurately restore the encoded digital signal sent by the infrared transmitter.

This receiving module supports a wide operating voltage range of 3.3V to 5V DC power input, which is perfectly matched with the power supply voltage and GPIO port level of mainstream microcontrollers including Arduino, ESP32, STM32 and Raspberry Pi. The product uses a standard 3-pin pin header defined as VCC, GND and OUT signal pin with clear PCB silk screen marking. No complex peripheral filter circuits or voltage conversion circuits need to be added externally. Users only need to complete simple three-wire connection to the development board, which greatly reduces the hardware wiring difficulty for electronic novices, student learners and amateur makers and shortens the project debugging cycle.

In terms of internal hardware performance, KY-022 has strong anti-light interference capability, sensitive signal induction and fast response speed.
