LTR390UV Digital UV Index & Ambient Light Sensor Module with I2C Interface

The LTR390UV is a highly integrated environmental light sensor (ALS) and ultraviolet sensor (UVS) with a low-voltage I2C interface. It converts light intensity into a digital output signal that can be directly transmitted via I2C, offering a linear ALS response across a wide dynamic range. This makes it especially suitable for high-brightness applications. Featuring a programmable interrupt function with hysteresis for event response, the LTR390 stands out as one of the few cost-effective UV sensors on the market while maintaining excellent performance.

With a spectral response range of 280nm to 430nm (UVA band) and raw data output capability, it can measure UV index in ambient light to help protect skin and eyes from sun damage. The module is equipped with a professional level-shifting IC that supports 3.3V–5V microcontroller communication and includes reverse-connection protection.
