A: No. The MAX98357A uses filterless Class D technology and can drive speakers directly.

Q: Does it support stereo?

A: The chip is mono output. The module defaults to stereo mixing mode.

A: Yes. Operating voltage range is 2.5V ~ 5.5V, compatible with lithium battery power.

Q: No sound from the speaker — how to troubleshoot?

A: ① Check that power supply is normal; ② Verify I2S connections (BCLK/LRC/DIN) are correct; ③ Confirm the I2S sample rate in your code is within 8kHz ~ 96kHz.
