⚠️ Module Distinction & Power Warning:
MT3608 (Boost): Input
2V-24V, Output5V-28V. Input voltage MUST be lower than the set output voltage.MP1584EN (Buck): Input
4.5V-28V, Output1.2V-26V. Input voltage MUST be at least 1.5V higher than the set output voltage.Never exceed these ranges or reverse polarity!
⚠️ No-Load Adjustment & Measurement Warning: For both modules, after connecting input power, you MUST first use a multimeter to measure the output terminals and adjust the potentiometer to the target voltage with NO LOAD connected, before connecting your load. This is crucial to prevent damage to your devices!
⚠️ Current & Heat Dissipation Warning: Ensure load current is within each module's rating. You MUST add a heat sink when continuous output current exceeds 1A (for MT3608) or 2A (for MP1584EN)! Natural convection is insufficient for high power.
⚠️ Series Connection Warning: If using the buck module's output as the boost module's input (in series), calculate total power dissipation and efficiency to avoid overloading the first-stage module.
🔧 Recommended Application: Use the buck module to power your Arduino (5V), and use the boost module to step up the same battery voltage to drive higher voltage components (e.g., LED strips, motors).
