MT6701 is a new generation of magnetic angle encoder chip based on the principle of differential Hall induction launched by MagnTek. MT6701 senses the magnetic field component perpendicular to the surface of the chip, with the rotation of a radial magnet magnetized on the surface of the chip,

MT6701 correspondingly outputs an angle signal of 0~360°. In addition to providing ABZ/UVW incremental output and Analog/PWM absolute angle output, MT6701 also provides 14 bit digital angle output through I2C/SSI interface. In addition to rotation angle measurement, MT6701 also provides a "press" output to realize single-chip button (rotation + press) function.
