Before purchasing, please check the following:

Replacing the particle sensor will not help if any of the following conditions exist:
1. Check the mounting bracket/exhaust pipe for blockage, carbon deposits, leakage or deformation.
2. Check the wiring harness for burn marks, abrasions or pull marks.
3. Check the connector pins for oxidation, pin retraction, or urea penetration.
4. Check that the vehicle ground, fuses and relays are functioning properly.
5. Check whether the diesel particulate filter (DPF) is burned through or there is too much urea crystallization
6. Check if you can apply voltage resistor to the pin.
