Ditch the Onboard Noise! PCM5102A I2S DAC Decoder Board, Designed for Raspberry Pi, pHAT Format, Delivers Pure HiFi Stereo Audio Output.

Key Features & Benefits:

🎵 Professional Audio Chip: Features TI's high-performance PCM5102A DAC chip with high SNR and low distortion for clean, detailed sound.

🔌 Plug & Play Design: Standard pHAT size, stacks directly onto Raspberry Pi GPIO pins. No messy wiring, clean and tidy installation.

🎧 Stereo Output: Onboard 3.5mm stereo jack, pre-soldered, ready to connect to headphones or powered speakers.

🔋 Single 5V Power: Draws power directly from Raspberry Pi GPIO, no extra PSU needed.

📖 Easy to Enable: Simply configure your Raspberry Pi to switch audio output to I2S, replacing the weak onboard analog audio.

Product Description:

This GY-PCM5102 module is the perfect audio upgrade for your Raspberry Pi. It transmits audio digitally via the efficient I2S interface and converts it to analog using the dedicated PCM5102A chip, eliminating the noise and hiss from the Raspberry Pi's onboard audio. Perfect for music players, internet radios, gaming setups, or media centers, it brings clear, powerful, high-quality sound to your Pi projects.

🚨 Critical User Guide: Read Before Purchase!

❌ 【What This IS & IS NOT】: This is a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) Board, NOT an amplifier! It outputs a "Line-Level" signal.

It CANNOT drive passive speakers directly. You MUST connect it to powered (active) speakers, an amplifier, or headphones.

Output power is limited. If volume seems low, check the volume settings and input sensitivity of your connected audio device.

⚠️ 【Most Common Mistakes】

1. Cannot Drive Passive Speakers: This is the #1 source of negative feedback. Ensure your speakers require a power plug (active speakers).

2. Missing Necessary Parts: The board itself may NOT include GPIO headers. You may need to solder them on yourself (or purchase a pre-soldered version) and use screws to secure it to the Pi. Check your SKU contents before purchase.

3. System Not Configured: The Raspberry Pi will still use its onboard audio by default. You MUST switch the audio output to "I2S DAC" or "External Audio Device" via command line or system settings. A simple guide will be linked on the product page.

✅ 【Required Setup & Steps】

1. What You Need: Raspberry Pi, possibly GPIO headers (2x20 pin), screws.

2. Correct Connection: Align the module with the Pi's GPIO pins and press down gently. Securing with screws is recommended.

3. System Configuration: Access your Raspberry Pi OS and follow the guide to enable the I2S driver and select this DAC as the default audio output device.

4. Connect Audio: Use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the module to the AUX input of your powered speakers or headphones.

🔧 【Compatibility & Notes】

Compatibility: Works with all standard 40-pin GPIO Raspberry Pi models (e.g., Pi 3B+/4B/5, Zero 2W).

Driver: Easiest to use under Raspberry Pi OS (formerly Raspbian). Other OS may require manual driver compilation.

Power: Ensure your Raspberry Pi power supply is adequate (recommended 5V/3A) for stable operation of both the DAC and the system.
