TMC2209 is a perfect alternative to upgrade the stepper motor driver of 3D printer. It is compatible with existing 3D printer electronics and can easily replace the TMC2208, A4988, and other stepper motor drivers. With its advanced functions such as silent operation, precise micro-stepping, and sensorless homing, it can significantly improve the performance of your 3D printer.
The driver default current is 1.25A, with a maximum current of 2.5A, continuous and stable printing current can reach 1.8A, logic voltage of 3.3V / 5V, and input voltage of 5.5V - 28V. The micro-stepping capability can go up to 1/256, providing precise control over movement of the stepper motor.
Adopting a noise free and high-precision chopping algorithm, the motor will not produce any sound during both motion and rest, making it very quiet during the printing process.
The TMC2209 silent stepper driver is designed to have excellent heat dissipation and generate low heat. It has a large cooling area that helps to keep the temperature low even when working for extended periods of time. Compared to other stepper motor drivers, the TMC2209 can lower the heat generated by up to 30 percent.
Perfect fit for MKS SGEN-L, supports UART mode, supports infinite bit return to zero, and is set through jumper caps.
