This series of fuse links is suitable for electrical devices with AC 50Hz, rated voltage up to 1200V, and rated current up to 630A. There are three different structures of fuses, one as overload and short circuit protection for electrical circuits (gG), the other as short circuit protection for semiconductor equipment (aR), and can also be derived as motor short circuit protection (aM)

The rated breaking capacity of this series of fuse links is up to 80kA.

Structural characteristics

The variable cross-section melt made of pure copper/silver (or wire) is encapsulated in a melt tube made of high-strength ceramic or epoxy glass cloth tube: the melt tube is filled with chemically treated high-purity quartz sand as the arc extinguishing medium.
