Summary

Tang Primer 25K is a minuscule core board (23x18mm) designed based on GW5A-LV25MG121,

accompanied by a 25K Dock base board that exposes all pins (excluding MIPI high-speed pins).

The ultra-small core board size can be applied in any volume-restricted scenarios.The simple base

board can connect a USB joystick, plug in a 40Pin SDRAM module, and three PMOD interfaces can

connect to an HDMI display, PS2 joystick to form a typical RetroGame console configuration.It can also

be paired with the series of PMOD modules produced by Sipeed, for use in FPGA university teaching.

ATTENTION

1. Use the latest version ≥1.9.9-beta4 of the educational lDE,otherwise you will not find the chip

    model for Tang Primer25K in the software.

2. The FPGA chip on Tang Primer 25K is GW5A-LV25MG121,please select the model correctly in

    the IDE.

3. Do not use JTAG, MODE, or DONE which are used for con-figuring FPGA. lf you really need to    

    use these pins, please check the UG987-1.0.5E GW5A series of FPGA Products Schematic

    Manual.pdf for detail.

4. Avoid ESD hitting the PCBA. Release the static electricity from your body before touching the

    PCBA.

5. The working voltage of each GPIO has been marked in the schematic diagram. Do not let the

    actual working volt-age of GPIO exceed the rated value, otherwise it will causepermanent  

    damage to the PCBA.

6. When using the PMOD module, please check the pin definition before inserting it.

7. During the power-on process, avoid any liquid or metal from touching the pad of the components

    on the PCBA.Otherwise,short circuit may cause the PCBA burned.
