This TCS230 (TCS3200) color recognition sensor module is designed for accurate RGB color detection.It operates at 5V and features a compact size of 46mm x 33mm.The module integrates a high-performance sensor, microcontroller, and power management circuit.

With an RGB frequency response range of 10–50,000 Hz, the module ensures precise color measurement under optimal conditions.The recommended detection distance is 10mm, and it is intended for static color detection.

Output is provided via serial communication, allowing direct connection to a computer through a USB-to-TTL adapter.RGB values can be read in real-time using a serial monitor.

Usage Notes:
The onboard white LED provides sufficient reflected light for daily use—no external strong light source is required.
Avoid exposing the sensor to excessively bright light, as this may prevent the module from returning valid data.Reducing ambient light restores normal function.
If color measurement is inaccurate, perform white balance calibration: Send the command “AT+LIGHT+ON” to turn on the onboard LED, place white paper above the sensor to reflect light, then send “AT+ADJ”.Wait for “OK” to confirm calibration.
Note: Recalibrate after changing DPI settings.
