SGP40VOC Sensors (HVAC and Indoor Air Quality Applications)

The SGP40 is a digital VOC (volatile organic compound) sensor that can be easily integrated into air handling equipment and air quality monitors.
The SGP40 is based on Sensirion CMOSens® technology, a digital IC interface, a temperature-controlled miniature heating plate, and a humidity-compensated indoor air quality signal, which can provide a complete sensor system on a single chip. Combined with Sensirion powerful VOC algorithm (SGP40VOC part of the exponential driver package), the sensor signal can be directly used for indoor air quality assessment, such as triggering the gradual fan control of air handling equipment. The SGP40 elevates the multi-pixel and multi-hot plate approach to a new level, closer to the goal of individually controlling each sensing element, and the SGP40 can be
reduce power consumption, so it is suitable for battery-driven applications.

SGP41VOC and NOX sensors (for intelligently conditioned air handling equipment)

SGP41-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and NOx (Nitrogen Oxides) sensor, which is designed as a digital intelligent switching and regulating unit, can be applied to air treatment equipment (such as air purifier). Thanks to Sensirion powerful body index algorithm, the two sensor signals are processed by an algorithm that automatically triggers the air treatment device directly, without user involvement.
