4-phase 5-wire 5V stepper motor
Stepper motor is an open-loop control motor that converts pulse signal into angular displacement or linear displacement. It is the main executive component in modern digital program control system and is widely used.

1: The stepper motor can only be operated after being driven. When there is no pulse in the drive signal, the stepper motor will be stationary. When an appropriate pulse signal is added, it will rotate at an angle (called step angle). The speed of rotation is proportional to the frequency of the pulse.

The 5-wire 4-phase can be driven by ordinary ULN2003 chips or connected to 2-phase for use. It can be used with the development board, and can be directly inserted to facilitate the use of the stepping motor on the development board.

Driving method
The stepping motor can not be directly connected to the power frequency AC or DC power supply to work. It uses a special stepping motor driver, which consists of pulse generation control unit, power drive unit, protection unit, etc.
The driving unit is directly coupled with the stepping motor, which can also be understood as the power interface of the stepping motor microcomputer controller.

Drive requirements
1: It can provide fast current rising and falling speed, so that the current waveform is close to a rectangle. It has a circuit for releasing the current during the cut-off period to reduce the back EMF at both ends of the winding and accelerate the current attenuation.
2: It has high rhyme power and efficiency. The speed of the stepping motor and the frequency of the pulse signal can adjust the speed of the motor.
