Description:
Generally, the ambient temperature sensor is a small black thing near the branch on the wall side of the outdoor unit. The pipe temperature sensing head is inserted into the wall of the coil inside the outdoor unit.
The copper head is used to detect copper pipes and has fast temperature conduction; the rubber head is generally used to detect ambient temperature, is corrosion-resistant and has high reliability.
Common Problem:
How to judge the resistance value of air conditioning temperature sensor
If the air conditioner temperature sensor is broken, the following phenomena will occur. You can judge the quality of the air conditioner temperature sensor by checking:
1. The resistance of the indoor ambient temperature sensor increases, causing the air conditioner to start frequently.
2. The resistance of the indoor pipe temperature sensor becomes smaller, causing the entire machine to malfunction soon after starting.
3. The indoor ambient temperature and pipe temperature sensing properties change, causing the air conditioner to malfunction.
4. The indoor pipe temperature change value is 0Q, causing the whole machine to have no response when it is turned on remotely.
Solution to the broken air conditioner temperature sensor:
Thermometer sensor failure accounts for a relatively large proportion of air-conditioning failures. To make an accurate judgment, you must first understand its function. There are three temperature sensors in the air-conditioning control part:
1. Room temperature sensor: mainly detects the indoor temperature. When the indoor temperature reaches the set requirement, it controls the operation of the indoor and outdoor units. During cooling, the outdoor unit stops and the indoor unit continues to run. During heating, the indoor unit blows out residual heat and then stops.
2. Indoor tube temperature sensor: mainly detects the coil temperature of the indoor evaporator, and plays a role in preventing cold wind, preventing overheating, and automatically controlling the temperature during heating.
3. Outdoor defrost temperature sensor: mainly detects the temperature of the outdoor condenser coil. When the outdoor coil temperature is lower than -6℃ for 2 consecutive minutes, the indoor unit switches to defrost state. When the resistance of the outdoor coil sensor is too high, , the indoor unit does not work properly.
Analysis of the reasons why the air conditioner display temperature is inconsistent with the actual perceived temperature:
1. The remote control settings are incorrect;
⒉. The filter is not cleaned in time;
3. There are objects at the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioner that affect the heating effect. There are heat sources in the room or there are many people in the room, resulting in poor cooling effect;
4. The room insulation effect is poor;
5. The indoor power supply voltage is too low, resulting in low air conditioning efficiency; 6. The ambient temperature is too high or too low, resulting in poor performance.
Notice:
During the maintenance process of air conditioners, the temperature sensor (thermistor) has a high proportion of faults. Once there is an open circuit, short circuit or poor characteristic curve, the air conditioner will display an abnormal code and cannot work normally. Since the parameters and resistance values are not marked on the temperature sensor, it is often difficult to determine during maintenance. Even if it is the same brand but different models, the resistance values may not be the same.
Temperature sensor, that is, the resistance decreases when the temperature increases; the resistance increases when the temperature decreases. The negative terminal sampling voltage of the CPU comparator is 1/2 of the CPU power supply voltage, which is 2.5V. As for the pull-up resistors at the positive terminals of the peripheral circuits RTI and RT2 op amp comparators, R1 and R2 are lower bias resistors.
