Product Introduction
The INA219 is a shunt and power monitor with I2C or SMBUS compatible interface. The device monitors the shunt voltage drop and the bus supply voltage, the number of conversions and the filter options are programmed by setting. The programmed calibration value is combined with an internal multiplier to support direct read current (amperes). The power (in watts) can be calculated by adding a multiplication register. The I2C or SMBUS compatible interface has 16 programmable addresses.

The INA240 device is a voltage-output, current-detecting amplifier with enhanced PWM suppression that detects voltage drops across shunt resistors in a wide common-mode voltage range from -4V to 80V independent of the supply voltage. The negative common-mode voltage allows the operating voltage of the device to be lower than the ground voltage, thus adapting the flyback period low power consumption of typical solenoid applications is a key issue. The MAX4080/MAX4081 are two high-side current sense amplifiers with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 76V.
