The function of the AC current transmitter is mainly to change the AC current of the main circuit under test into a linear proportional output of DC voltage or DC current. In this way, the AC current signal can be recognized and processed by other devices, such as data acquisition systems, instrument displays, etc. In addition, it also assumes the isolation role between the strong current system and the weak current system to protect the input of the computer acquisition system from being broken down by high voltage AC voltage. Through the conversion of the current transmitter, the DC current or DC voltage proportional to the input AC current is more convenient for long-distance transmission, so that the distant monitoring device or monitoring instrument can easily receive accurate current signals.
Principle
The principle of AC current transmitter mainly includes three steps: signal sampling, signal processing and signal output. First, the input AC voltage signal is sampled, and different methods can be used, such as peak detection or RMS detection, to obtain the characteristic parameters of the AC voltage signal. Secondly, the sampled AC voltage signal goes through a series of signal processing algorithms, including filtering, amplification and linearization, etc., to obtain more accurate and stable conversion results. Finally, after signal processing, the AC voltage transmitter outputs the converted signal into a standard voltage or current signal.
Ac current transmitters have the following advantages:
High accuracy: The accuracy level of current transmitters is usually low and can reach 0.2% F.S or better.
High linearity: Very high linearity over the entire range.
Simple construction and high degree of integration: this makes the current transmitter easy to maintain and install.
Excellent temperature characteristics: Good performance can be maintained even in different temperature environments.
Long-term working stability: to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the current transmitter in long-term operation.
Strong anti-interference ability: the three sides of the current transmitter (input, output, power supply) are isolated from each other, and can effectively resist external interference.
Ac current transmitter plays an important role in the power monitoring system, its role is to convert the complex AC current signal into a simple DC signal, which is convenient for subsequent equipment processing and monitoring. Its principle mainly relies on signal sampling, processing and output, and its superior performance characteristics ensure stable performance in a variety of application environments.
