GY‑MCU680 is a low‑cost air‑detection module. Operating voltage 3‑5V, low power consumption, compact size.

Working principle: The on‑board MCU reads raw data from BME680 sensor, and calculates temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, indoor air quality and resistance value through built‑in algorithm.

Two data reading modes are available: TTL serial port or native chip IIC communication interface. High precision and high stability. It can output ready‑made practical data directly without user‑side algorithm development.

Serial port baud rate: 9600bps / 115200bps. Supports continuous output and query output modes, adapting to various working environments. Compatible with all kinds of single‑chip microcomputers.

When PS solder pad is short‑soldered, the module switches to native‑chip IIC mode; onboard MCU stops working with zero extra current draw. Under this mode, it works as a pure BME680 sensor module.

The IAQ indoor air‑quality algorithm is ported from official BME680 chip reference code. During testing, it needs about 5‑minute warm‑up for stable valid readings.
