Overview

BMP280 is an absolute air pressure sensor designed specifically for mobile applications. The sensor module is installed in a very compact 8-pin metal cap LGA package with a package area of only 2.0 × 2.5 mm2 and a package height of 0.95 mm. It has a small size and low power consumption of 2.7 μ A @ 1Hz, and can be used in battery driven devices such as mobile phones, GPS modules, or watches. The sensors have good relative accuracy of ± 0.12 hPa, which is equivalent to a height difference of ± 1 m.
