The use of hot-melt adhesive is strictly prohibited.

For the socket-mounted charging indicator light: if the light is not red, the red LED on the mainboard must be removed for it to illuminate. Furthermore, the charging indicator light will not switch off once the battery is fully charged.

If you wish for the light to switch off upon full charge, you must connect a wire across the two terminals of the red LED on the mainboard.

You must use a 3.7V battery with an overcurrent rating of 5A or higher and equipped with a protection circuit. Otherwise, the battery will trigger protection at maximum volume.

When used without a battery and powered via a 5V 3A mains adapter, the volume must not exceed 50 per cent, otherwise the device will reboot.

The amplifier’s signal-to-noise ratio is 67; this means that at very low volumes, white noise may be audible when your ear is approximately 10 centimetres from the speaker. If this is a concern, please do not purchase.

The sound tuning software does not support Windows 7 or earlier operating systems.

Power supply requirements:

1. Battery input: 3.3–4.2 V. The current from the battery connector to the main board must meet the following requirements: continuous discharge of 5 A, peak discharge of 8 A. For example, a 2000 mAh 5C battery or a 3000 mAh 3C battery.

Battery protection board: Must have at least four 8-pin MOSFETs.

2. Connect the adjustable power supply to the battery socket; the voltage must be between 3.3 V and 4.2 V, and the current must exceed 14 A to meet the peak load requirements.

3. The device will not power on without a battery.

Battery cable requirements: The cable must be thicker than No. 22 gauge, and the length must be less than 200 mm (<20 cm).

Frequently Asked Questions:

① Causes of loud noises, reboots, stuttering or shutdowns: Insufficient power supply — please refer to the power supply requirements and verify the parameters of the battery, protection board and battery cable. (Note: Currently, in 1 in 3,000 cases, high speaker volume causes the mainboard to reboot; this is due to very fine copper wire costing just over one yuan.) Apart from this, there are no other known causes.

② How to pair? — Disconnect your mobile phone, switch on the speaker, and quickly press the power button three times to initiate pairing — wait 10 seconds and rescan for a Bluetooth connection. The left channel initiates pairing. Pressing the button four times cancels pairing.

③ The sound seems very quiet —— This is extremely rare. The mobile phone’s Bluetooth volume synchronisation function must be enabled — Settings > Bluetooth > Advanced > tick ‘Volume

Synchronisation’ or ‘Absolute Volume’, or connect a tactile switch to the volume pad reserved on the main board for control.
