Product Introduction
The chip model TPA3255 used in this model is a high-performance Class D power amplifier chip, which has Class D efficiency and can bring true high-end sound quality to the circuit. This device features advanced integrated feedback design and proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction function (PurePath Ultra HD). This technology enables devices to maintain ultra-low distortion throughout the entire audio frequency band while showcasing sound quality. This device operates in AD mode and can drive up to 2 315W/4R loads and 2 150W (uncut power)/8R loads at a THD of 1.5%. It also features a 2VRMS analog input interface that supports seamless connection with high-performance DACs such as TI's PCM5242. In addition to excellent audio performance, TPA3255 also has two major advantages: high power efficiency and ultra-low power idle loss (less than 2.5W). This can be achieved through an 85mR MOSFET and an optimized gate driver scheme. This scheme can significantly reduce idle losses compared to traditional discrete implementation schemes.
