Special reminder: After the sensor is powered on, it needs to be preheated for about 20 seconds before the measured data is stable. Heating of the sensor is normal because there is an electric heating wire inside. If it is hot, it will be abnormal.

Sensor introduction:
The gas-sensitive material used in gas sensors is tin dioxide (SnO2), which has low conductivity in clean air. When there is combustible gas in the environment where the sensor is located, the conductivity of the sensor increases as the concentration of combustible gas in the air increases. A simple circuit can be used to convert changes in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to that gas concentration. The MQ-6 gas sensor has high sensitivity to propane and liquefied petroleum gas, and also has good sensitivity to natural gas. This sensor can detect a variety of flammable gases and is a low-cost sensor suitable for a variety of applications.

Module application:
Suitable for household or industrial detection devices for LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), propane, and LNG (liquefied natural gas). Excellent resistance to ethanol vapor and smoke interference.
