-Type I

The tip of the soldering iron tip is small. It is suitable for fine welding, or the situation where the welding space is narrow, and it can also correct the tin bridge generated when welding chips.

-B type/LB type (conical)

The B-type soldering iron tip has no directionality, and the entire front end of the soldering iron tip can be soldered. Type LB is a kind of type B and has a slender shape. It can operate flexibly in the welding environment with taller components around the solder joint or narrow welding space. Suitable for general soldering, regardless of the size of the solder joint, you can also use the B-type soldering iron tip.

-D type/LD type (one-word batch nozzle shape)

Welding with batch nozzle. Suitable for soldering that requires a large amount of tin, such as a soldering environment with large soldering area, thick terminals, and large pads.

-Type C/Type CF (Chamfered Cylindrical)

Soldering with the inclined part of the front end of the soldering iron tip is suitable for soldering that requires a large amount of tin. Only the sloped part of the CF type soldering iron tip has tin plating, and only the sloped part can be tinned during soldering. Therefore, the amount of tin dipping will be different from that of the C type soldering iron tip, and the choice depends on the needs of soldering.

The application range of C-type soldering iron tips is similar to that of D-type soldering iron tips, such as large welding area, thick terminals, and large welding pads. 0.5C, 1C/CF, 1.5CF and other soldering iron tips are very fine, suitable for soldering small components, or correcting solder bridges and solder pillars generated during surface soldering. If only a small amount of solder is needed for soldering, it is more suitable to use a CF-type soldering iron tip with tin plating only on the inclined surface. 2C/2CF, 3C/3CF type soldering iron tips are suitable for soldering components such as resistors and diodes. SOP and QFP with large tooth pitch can also be used. 4C/4CF is suitable for thick terminals and grounding on circuit boards.
