Product Description:

1. The HC-12 wireless serial communication module is a new-generation, multi-channel embedded wireless data transmission module. It operates in the 433.4–483.8 MHz frequency band and supports multiple channels, with a channel spacing of 400 kHz and a total of 127 channels. In default mode, the module has a maximum transmit power of 100mW (20dBm), an air data rate of 5000bps, a receive sensitivity of -116dBm, and a communication range of 1000 metres in open terrain.

2. The module utilises a surface-mount package with pin-through holes, allowing for surface-mount soldering. Measuring 27.4 mm × 13.2 mm (excluding the spring antenna), it is easily integrated into customer application systems. The module features a PCB antenna socket (ANT1), allowing users to connect an external antenna via a coaxial cable to the 433 MHz band (suitable for 433.4 MHz–450 MHz) or the 470 MHz band (suitable for 450 MHz–483.8 MHz), depending on the selected communication channel. The module also includes an antenna solder pad (ANT2) for convenient soldering of a spring antenna. Users may select one of these antenna options according to their requirements.

3. The module contains an MCU; users do not need to program the module separately. Various pass-through modes simply transmit and receive serial data, making it convenient to use. The module supports multiple serial pass-through modes, which users can select using AT commands according to their requirements.

4. The average operating current in idle mode for the four modes (FU1, FU2, FU3, FU4) is 3.3mA, 85μA, 16.5mA and 16.5mA respectively; the maximum operating current is approximately 120mA (during full-power transmission).
