The WiFi LoRa 32 Expansion Kit Gen 2 is compatible with the latest WiFi LoRa 32 V4-R8 (8M-

PSRAM) and features a newly added SD card slot, which enhances its performance in high-load

applications such as offline maps.The new version comes with a buzzer and GNSS module

integrated by default, and you can also add additional sensor options through the expansion options

on the baseboard.Meanwhile, the baseboard has been upgraded to a new aluminum base plate, making

the structure more robust.

1.Does it include the battery?

This link does not sell expansion boards that include batteries.

2.What battery should I choose?

Any 18650 flat-top lithium battery with a voltage range of 3.3~4.2V.

3.Does it include the WiFi LoRa 32 V4 development board?

Yes.

4.Is the device waterproof?

No, it does not feature waterproofing.

5.Why is my buzzer making strange sounds?

When the device is identifying GPS, the timing of the buzzer is disrupted, causing it to sound somewhat

unusual. This commonly occurs when the device is first started up, and it will return to normal after about

one minute.

6.How to flash firmware？

1. Connect the USB-C cable to the computer.

2. Press and hold the USER key, then press the RST key once. Release the USER key afterward.

3. Flash the new firmware.

4. After the firmware is successfully flashed, press the RST key to restart the device.

7.LNA for V4.3

Note: The following content only applies to hardware V4.3 and above

Meshtastic 2.7.20: On the device, use the PRG button to navigate to “System” → “LoRa”, where you can

choose to enable or disable LNA.

MeshCore 1.15.0: LNA is enabled by default and cannot be modified.

8.Programming mode

In touch mode, the Bluetooth function cannot be used. Programming mode is only for Bluetooth firmware

updates.

When you tap the “Bluetooth” option that appears on the shutdown button:

– Long press the “Bluetooth” icon to enter BASE UI mode, where Bluetooth companion mode can be used.

– Short press the “Bluetooth” icon to enter programming mode.
