Product Description:
1. This flyback isolated module features a wide 3-42V input voltage range, capable of step-up or step-down conversion to 5V/12V outputs. incorporates built-in output short-circuit protection to prevent module burnout. Reserved pads for the AMS1117 series and 78L05 series LD0 are provided, enabling applications requiring more stable LD0 outputs. When paired with LD0, it can also deliver 3.3V/1.8V outputs for powering low-voltage devices such as microcontrollers.
2. The module features a semi-through-hole gold-plated design. To facilitate LD0 pad reservation during design, users may create cut-outs in the PCB beneath the LD0 soldering area.
Important Notes:
1. When input voltage exceeds 28V, particular attention must be paid to thermal shock risks during powered-up operation. Mechanical switching may generate transient voltage spikes exceeding twice the supply voltage during connection, posing a risk of module damage. Avoid powering up directly with a load connected.
2. This module incorporates output overload protection. Should the load exceed the rated range, the system will automatically cease output. At this point, the measured output voltage will be 0V, indicating a normal protective state. The module remains undamaged under these circumstances and will resume normal operation once the overload is resolved. Customers may use it with confidence.
