LiitoKala Lii-402 Smart 4‑Slot Universal Battery Charger – Product Details
⚠️ Important Notice (Read Before Purchasing)
This charger is a dedicated charging device. It does NOT have the following functions:
❌ No capacity (mAh) testing
❌ No internal resistance testing
❌ No temperature testing
❌ No LCD digital display
The LED indicators are used only to show charging progress (25% / 50% / 75% / 100%) and battery type (NiMH 1.2V, Li‑Fe 3.2V, Li‑ion 3.7V, Li‑ion 3.85V). They are NOT numeric displays.
Please do not use this charger for testing battery capacity or internal resistance. Thank you for your understanding.

(Other similar‑size cylindrical Li‑ion or Ni‑MH cells may also fit, provided the length is ≤70mm.)
📦 Key Features
Four independent charging slots – each slot is managed separately without interference.
Type‑C USB 5V/2A input – works with standard phone chargers or power banks.
Four selectable charging currents: 500mA / 700mA / 1000mA / 2000mA
(Note: 2000mA is available only on slot 4.)Intelligent auto‑detection – automatically identifies 3.7V Li‑ion and 1.2V Ni‑MH batteries and applies the correct charging mode.
Manual selection – for 3.2V (LiFePO₄) and 3.85V (Li‑ion) batteries, you must set the type via the button.
0V battery revival – can attempt to activate over‑discharged 0V batteries (1.65V–1.85V range only receives a trickle activation current; it will not enter normal charging).
Multiple protections – over‑charge, over‑discharge, short‑circuit, reverse‑polarity, and bad‑battery detection.
Constant‑current / constant‑voltage (CC/CV) charging – automatically stops when current drops below 100mA.
USB 5V/1A output (on slot 4) – can be used as an emergency power bank.
🕹️ Operating Instructions (Step by Step)
Step 1: Power On and Insert Battery
Use a 5V/2A USB adapter (with the supplied Type‑C cable) to power the charger.
Insert a battery into any slot – all LEDs will flash on briefly, then the charger enters detection mode.
Step 2: Select Battery Type (Critical Step)
⚠️ Important sequence tip:
You must set each slot one by one. Insert the first battery, complete its type selection and current setting, wait until it starts charging (indicator flashing), then insert the next battery. Do not insert multiple batteries at the same time and then try to set them all together – this may cause type confusion or misoperation.
Auto‑detection: If you insert a 3.7V Li‑ion or a 1.2V Ni‑MH battery, the charger will recognise it automatically – no action is needed – and will begin charging after 5 seconds.
-
Manual selection (only for 3.2V and 3.85V):
After inserting the battery, the 4 level LEDs light up and the 3.7V LED flashes, indicating that the charger is waiting for type selection.
Short‑press (tap) the MODE button – the battery type will cycle through (3.7V → 3.85V → 3.2V ...).
(Note: 3.7V can be manually selected but is usually unnecessary; if you have a 3.2V or 3.85V battery, cycle until the corresponding LED lights up.)When the LED stops at your desired type, release the button and wait about 5 seconds – the flashing stops, meaning the charger has entered the selected charging mode for that slot.
💡 Tip: If you forget which type you set during charging, short‑press the MODE button – the charger will briefly show the current battery type for 5 seconds, then automatically return to the charging display.
Step 3: Select Charging Current (Optional but Recommended)
While charging (the LED is already flashing to indicate charging), long‑press the MODE button for about 2 seconds – the current level will cycle: 500mA → 700mA → 1000mA → 2000mA (2000mA only on slot 4).
Every adjustment requires a long press – stop when the LED for your desired current lights up.
After selection, leave it still – the charger will continue charging at that current.
Again, set each slot individually: each battery’s current is independent; finish setting one slot and let it stabilise before moving to the next.
⚠️ Note: Make sure the selected current does not exceed the maximum charging current allowed by your battery, to avoid damage or safety hazards.
📊 Charging Status Indication (LED Meanings)
Number of LEDs Lit |
Corresponding Capacity |
1 LED on/flashing |
0% – 25% |
2 LEDs on/flashing |
25% – 50% |
3 LEDs on/flashing |
50% – 75% |
4 LEDs on/flashing |
75% – 100% |
4 LEDs solid on (not flashing) |
Charging complete! |
During charging, the level LEDs flash according to the current capacity percentage. When fully charged, all four LEDs stay solid on – remove the battery and disconnect the power promptly.
🔌 USB Output Function (Slot 4 Only)
Power the charger, insert a 3.7V Li‑ion (or 3.8V/3.2V) battery into slot 4, then long‑press the MODE button to select “USB output” mode (refer to the original manual for detailed steps).
Output specification: 5V / 1000mA (1A) – can be used to emergency‑charge phones, small fans, etc.
During output, the battery‑level LEDs will light up for 10 seconds then turn off; short‑press MODE to view remaining capacity again.
