Key Installation & Usage Notes
Shut off the engine and disconnect the negative battery terminal before installation to avoid short circuit damage to the sensor or ECU
Before removing the old sensor clean the installation area to remove oil and dust to prevent impurities from entering the intake manifold
After removing the old sensor check whether there are impurities in the mounting hole clean with compressed air if necessary
Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the O-ring seal of the new sensor do not apply sealant
Align the new sensor with the mounting hole and tighten the fixing bolt to the factory standard torque of 8-10Nm Avoid over-tightening causing housing cracking
Connect the electrical connector ensure the lock is in place and the wiring harness routing is consistent with the original
After installation reconnect the negative battery terminal and clear the engine system fault codes
Start the engine and idle for 5-10 minutes test the engine operation stability and confirm the fault light goes out
No special maintenance is required for daily care regularly check for air leakage at the sensor installation part
Troubleshooting Priority First check whether there is air leakage in the intake system then test the sensor power supply and signal output finally confirm the sensor body fault to avoid wrong replacement
