High Power MOSFET Trigger Switch Module – 15A 400W, DC 5V-36V, PWM Speed Controller & Regulator, for Arduino PLC

Key Features & Benefits

πŸ”‹ Dual Parallel MOSFET Output: Imported dual MOSFETs in parallel – lower internal resistance, less heat. 15A continuous at room temp (400W), up to 30A with cooling (800W). Meets most high-power equipment needs.

πŸŽ›οΈ Wide Voltage Range 5V-36V: Operating voltage DC 5V-36V. Output voltage equals input voltage – flexible for various power systems.

πŸ“‘ Multiple Trigger Signal Support: Accepts digital high/low level signals (DC 3.3V-20V). Direct connection to MCU IO, PLC interface, DC power supply. Perfect PWM support from 0 to 20KHz – precise speed and brightness control.

πŸ”§ Versatile Applications: Control motors, bulbs, LED strips, DC motors, micro pumps, solenoid valves. Input PWM signal for motor speed regulation and lamp dimming.

❄️ Wide Temperature Range & Unlimited Life: Operating temperature -40℃ to 85℃ – reliable in harsh conditions. Solid-state electronic switch with unlimited switching cycles.ching cycles.

Product Description

This MOSFET trigger switch drive module is the ideal solution for controlling high-power devices with your MCU or PLC. Whether you need DC motor speed control, LED strip dimming, or solenoid valve switching, a single IO or PWM signal can drive loads up to 400W. Dual MOSFET design ensures low heat and high reliability, making your projects more stable and safer.

⚑ Quick Start Guide & Important Tips

πŸ”Ή What It Does & What You Need

βœ… This module does: Acts as a high-power electronic switch – controls DC loads (5V-36V) via high/low or PWM signals for on/off, speed control, dimming
❌ This module is NOT: A voltage regulator (output voltage = input voltage), nor isolated (signal and power share ground)
⚠️ Current Capacity:

β€’ Room temp, natural cooling: 15A continuous (400W)

β€’ With heatsink (recommended): 30A continuous (800W)

β€’ Exceeding limits may damage the module

πŸ”§ You will need:

β€’ DC power supply (5V-36V, rated for your load power)

β€’ Load device (motor, LED strip, solenoid valve, etc.)

β€’ Control signal source (Arduino, PLC, MCU IO or PWM output)

πŸ”Ή Wiring in 4 Steps

1. Connect Power: VCC β†’ power positive, GND β†’ power negative

2. Connect Load: OUT+ β†’ load positive, OUT- β†’ load negative

3. Connect Signal: SIG β†’ MCU/PLC signal output (IO or PWM), and share ground (signal GND connected to power GND)

4. Test: High level (or PWM) β†’ module turns ON; low level β†’ module turns OFF

⚠️ Critical Warnings!

Ground must be shared: Module won't work if signal ground and power ground are not connected

Polarity matters: Reversing VCC/GND will burn the module

NO 220V AC: This module is for DC loads only

πŸ”Ή Common Questions & Tips

❓ Why does my motor make noise or heat up during PWM control?

PWM frequency should be between 1KHz and 20KHz. Too low (<100Hz) may cause motor vibration or whining; too high (>20KHz) may cause incomplete switching and extra heat.

❓ What happens if load current exceeds 15A?

Short-term overload may cause overheating. For continuous 30A, a heatsink is required (recommend our Heatsink Kit) with good ventilation.

❓ Can I control AC motors or 220V devices?

No. This module is designed for DC loads only, with input/output voltage range DC 5V-36V. For AC control, use an AC solid-state relay module.

❓ Can I use 3.3V logic (like ESP32) to trigger?

Yes. The trigger signal voltage range is DC 3.3V-20V, so 3.3V logic works perfectly.

❓ Is there a voltage drop when the module is on?

Yes, a small drop exists due to MOSFET internal resistance. At 15A, the drop is about 0.1V-0.2V, generating about 2W-3W of heat – normal operation.
