IO Expansion&Motor Driver Shield is an Arduino compatible expansion board. In addition to the universal pins of Arduino, the expansion board also provides separate VCC and GND ports for each pin, which facilitates the insertion and removal of sensors. In addition, the expansion board also reserves rich interface resources such as IIC interface, serial port, Xbee slot, etc., which can make it more convenient to connect external devices. The IO expansion board is equipped with a TB6612FNG dual motor driver chip, which can simultaneously drive two motors and support PWM control. The single channel continuous driving current is 1.2A, with a peak value of up to 3.2A, and is compatible with the vast majority of various micro DC motors on the market. The expansion board interfaces are available in both pin and female formats, with silk screen markings for each interface. Separate status indicators are provided for the serial port, power supply, and XBee interfaces, making them very user-friendly. In the control of small intelligent robots, the use of this expansion board can effectively reduce costs and greatly improve usability.
