1) Check the mounting bracket/exhaust pipe for blockages, carbon buildup, leaks, or deformation.

2) Check the wiring harness for burn marks, wear, or pulling marks.

3) Check the connector pins for oxidation, pin retraction, or urea infiltration.

4) Check the vehicle ground, fuses, and relays for proper function.

5) Check the diesel particulate filter (DPF) for burn-through or excessive urea crystallization.

6) Check if a voltage resistance can be applied to the pins.
