SPECIFICATIONS

NOTE

1. This product is RS485 module only, it does not contain (USB to 485 module), please prepare yourself

2. This RS485 should be used by people with related knowledge,  if you don't know anything about it, please do not buy it, we don't provide technical support

3. You can only use our PC software to operate

4. Suitable for all RD series, but old RD power supply should update the firmware to the latest version to support the RS485 function

Cable Connection:

The computer is connected to the USB-485 module by PC software, then connect to the AB points of RS485 module by 485 bus

Setting:

Update the firmware to the latest version, turn on and press "SHIFT" and 0 to enter the "MENU" page, press "ENTER" and use direct button to move the cursor, choose communication interface as RS485, and set same value for all devices(default 115200), the device address should be set from 001-032(you can not set same address for two different devices), it can be connected to 32 devices max.

PC software operation:

First you need to install USB-485 driver, and install .net

Start PC software, choose Multi Machine option, then click Search, click connection when finish searching, you can set 6 data group for quick call out, and you can adjust the output voltage and current for all the devices, if you want to set voltage and current for single device, please edit it in the chart

Note:

Please do not operate on the RD series power supply panel after communication, Due to the communication frame interval, the operation will not be executed immediately on RD series power supply. When 32 devices are connected, an operation cycle time will reach 11 seconds. This product cannot be connected to other RD485 device, otherwise it will affect the communication of products.
