General

DAKR-XXD Auto-reset overload protection relay are designedto prevent loads from being damaged due to overload.

Usage and Working Principle

Make the connection of the device in accordance with the connection type. After making the connections, energize the device. Make the device settings according to the maximum operating current of the load you will use. can set overload value setting with the "A>" knob, set start-delay setting with the " ST" knob, the trip delay time and reset delay time with the "DT" knob.

When the device is energized, the relay is energized, thecontact output switches to terminal 3 and the OUT led turn on. The contactor is energized, If the current consumed is still higher than the set current value after the time set by ST has expired, the A> LED turn on, wait for the DT time setting to end, the OUT LED turns off, then the device relay is disconnectedand the contactor is powered off. The device automatically resets after the time of DT.

Setting on device

ST Knob: Sets the start(Inrush current) time.

DT Knob: Sets the overload fault waiting time and Auto-reset waiting time.

A> Knob: Sets overload value.

Maintenance

Switch off the device and release from connections. Clean the trunk of device with a swab. Don’t use any conductor or chemical
might damage the device. Make sure device works after cleaning

Warnings

Please use the device according to the manual.
Don’t use the device in wet.
Include a switch and circuit breaker in the assembly.
Put the switch and circuit breaker nearby the device, operator can reach easily.
Mark the switch and circuit breaker as releasing connection for device.
