Product introduction
The TCRT5000 infrared reflection sensor is used, which is a photoelectric sensor integrating transmission and reception. It is composed of an infrared light-emitting diode and an NPN infrared phototriode. Detection reflection distance 1mm-25mm applicable, sensor special M3 fixed mounting hole, easy to adjust the direction and fixing, using wide voltage LM393 comparator, signal clean, good waveform, strong driving ability, more than 15mA.

It can be applied to robot obstacle avoidance, robot tracking of white or black lines, can detect black lines in white background, can also detect white lines in black background, is a necessary sensor for line hunting robot. Assembly line piecework, pulse data sampling of watt-hour meter, paper detection of fax machine shredder and many other occasions.

Connection mode
When VCC (3.3V-5V) and GND are connected, the module power indicator will be on, and the infrared emitting diode of the TCRT5000 sensor will emit infrared continuously. When the emitted infrared is not reflected back or is reflected back but the intensity is not high enough, the infrared receiving tube will always be in the off state, and the output end of the module will be at a high level. The indicating diode is always out;

 

When the detected object appears within the detection range, the infrared is reflected back and the intensity is large enough, the infrared receiving tube is saturated, and the output end of the module is low and the indicating diode is lit. The DO output interface can be directly connected with the IO port of the single chip microcomputer, which is generally connected with external interrupts. Analog output AO When the infrared signal of the transmitting tube is received by the receiving tube through reflection, the resistance of the receiving tube will change, which is generally reflected in the form of voltage change on the circuit, and the processed output result is obtained after ADC conversion or LM324 circuit shaping. The change of resistance depends on the intensity of the infrared signal received by the receiving tube, which is often manifested in the color (reflectivity), shape and distance of the reflector receiving tube.
