QRA2 and QRA2M series UV flame detectors are dedicated OEM flame monitoring spare parts for natural gas, LPG and methanol burners. Equipped with professional ultraviolet induction chip, the probe only captures ultraviolet spectrum generated by gas and methanol flame, effectively isolating interference from workshop LED lamps, incandescent lights and ambient natural light to prevent false flameout alarms.

QRA2 is standard short probe for small and medium compact gas burners; QRA2M extended long probe fits deep cavity combustion heads and large industrial gas kilns. After successful ignition, the detector continuously transmits stable UV flame signal to the program controller to maintain normal fuel supply. If accidental flame loss happens during running, the UV photocell instantly cuts off signal output and triggers safety interlock to close gas valve, eliminating risks of fuel leakage and deflagration.

Unified external fixing thread, integrated signal wire and plug terminal fully match original installation structure. Users can directly replace aging, carbon-fouled and low-sensitivity old UV probes without modifying burner internal wiring and mounting brackets. High temperature resistant quartz lens blocks oil mist and carbon deposit, guaranteeing long-term stable detection performance under high temperature boiler environment.

Installation Guidance

Cut off the whole burner power supply and wait for the combustion head to cool down completely
Unplug signal wire plug of old UV detector, unscrew fixing thread and remove aged insensitive probe

Screw new QRA2/QRA2M UV flame detector tightly into reserved detection seat, align quartz lens toward flame combustion zone
Reconnect signal plug to corresponding terminals of program controller
